As his campaign manager, I know it’s not easy for him to ask for your hard-earned dollars ahead of tomorrow’s deadline -- especially when I’m sure other campaigns are making similar asks of you.

To tell the truth: Our February goal is about more than just a number on a spreadsheet.

It will determine where, when, and how much we’ll be capable of spending as the busy months speed up. There’s an incredible amount of resources that go into winning a highly-competitive race like ours, and the time and work we put in now will be the deciding factor in whether we can stay true to a winning strategy.

I’m proud to work for a leader like Anthony who won’t turn his back on our community by selling his vote to the highest bidder. But since he’s not accepting a cent of corporate PAC money, our budget is really in the hands of supporters like you.
