What happens when you connect the most promising, effective lawmakers of a generation?
Millennial Action Project (MAP) recognizes that Gen Z and Millennial lawmakers are taking center stage in legislatures across the nation and making an impact. With a 170 percent increase of Gen Zers in statehouses in 2022, a 40 percent increase of Millennials and Gen Z in Congress, and over 1,600 Millennials in legislative roles nationwide, it's time to take note of how new generations are changing the way America governs.
Hundreds of Gen Z and Millennial legislators authored the Innovation Agenda — a roadmap for collaborating on public policy solutions that serve rising generations. MAP is launching an Innovation Lab to engage across the aisle and workshop public policy that can pass divided legislatures and move communities forward. It’s a hub for young lawmakers to connect with policy experts at leading institutions who can share cutting-edge insights to inform their legislation. The Innovation Lab pairs lawmakers with experts in the fields of strengthening democracy, the future of work, healthcare, housing, criminal justice reform, and energy and environment.
