Tips for canvassing:
- Bring your smartphone and download the MiniVAN app
- Make sure your phone is charged and in battery save mode
- Think about why you are voting for Bernie and write it down or talk to a friend about it - it will help when you are talking with folks!
These events are for everyone! If you have never knocked a door in your life or if you have knocked too many to count, you are welcome. We will have a short training at the beginning of the canvass to make sure everyone has all the materials they need and gets all their questions answered. Don't worry if you don't know all the nitty gritty details of the policy or proposals — the most important thing is talking to folks about why YOU support Bernie and listening to what issues are most important to them. We will be pairing up to go knock so you will always have a buddy to lean on if you have any questions.

Bernie can and will win, but he needs our help to get across the finish line. Knocking on doors and talking to voters is the single most important thing we can do to make sure Bernie is our next president.
