Donald Trump released a proposed 2021 budget this month that screws over women, seniors on Medicare, new parents receiving SNAP benefits, people drowning in student loan debt, and Americans living with disabilities.

Who does Trump’s budget benefit? It includes billions more for his vanity wall on the southern border and for expanding ICE detention centers. And it extends his 2017 tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, paid for by gutting the social safety net.

This is who he’s always been. He separated immigrant and refugee families and put children in cages. He threw paper towels at Puerto Ricans in the wake of the devastating Hurricane Maria while overseeing an inept disaster relief effort. And in the wake of a white supremacist attack in Charlottesville, he called them “very fine people.”

Now, he’s telling us through this budget that if we let him win in November, he’ll only ramp up his attacks on the most vulnerable among us.

We cannot let him win.

ASPIRE is working tirelessly to stop Trump and unseat his enablers in Washington by electing progressive people of color across the country. I’m proud to support ASPIRE’s work taking on this corrupt, racist president.
