Big news! The Puyallup Tribe of Indians endorsed my campaign for Governor.

Vice Chairwoman Sylvia Miller gave an inspiring announcement of the
endorsement in front of more than 400 supporters at a huge campaign event
in Tacoma.

“The Puyallup Tribe has made a unanimous decision that the right person to
be governor of this state is Bob Ferguson. When you see something in
somebody that you feel is honest, true, who shares the values that you
have, you have to get involved. We are proud to support Bob.”

The Puyallup Tribe joins the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Snoqualmie Indian
Tribe, and the Tulalip Tribes in supporting my campaign. I’m proud that we
have received all four tribal endorsements in the race for Governor.

As Attorney General, I regularly partner with Washington tribes on a broad
range of important issues such as: combating climate change, protecting
tribal sovereignty, addressing the crisis of missing and murdered
indigenous women and defending the Indian Child Welfare Act.

We’ve made progress, but there is more work to be done — and I’ll continue
to prioritize the issues that matter to Washington’s tribes as governor.
