Politico just released a rundown of the most competitive 2024 state attorney general races, including Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Both of these seats will be open in 2024 with Attorney General Josh Stein now running for Governor in North Carolina, or in the case of Josh Shapiro, already elected Governor. This fact alone should tell you why it’s so important to elect Democratic AGs — not only do AGs do critical work protecting the people of their states, but AGs often go on to lead as Governors — and even as Vice President.
