MAGA extremists in the House are throwing a temper tantrum demanding the impeachment of President Biden, while government workers and contractors bite their fingernails and wonder whether or not they’ll have a paycheck next month if Republicans shut the government down. For House Republicans, the many thousands of workers—who will be forced to go to food pantries or dip into education or retirement savings to scrape by during a shutdown—are simply the cost of doing business. It’s reprehensible, John. I am as fired up as I’ve ever been to ensure we take back our House majority and put an end to these cruel GOP political stunts.
