Exciting stuff happening in the nonprofit labor space

Organizers and union-members from environmental nonprofits (including Breach!) have come together to form Green Union Hall ([link removed]) - a hub of solidarity and support for organizing efforts in the nonprofit sector. We’re creating a new workshop series on unionizing your nonprofit.

The series will kickoff with our first workshop Why Your Nonprofit Needs a Union ([link removed]) on Thursday, October 5 at 5pm PT/8pm ET. This will be an hour-long moderated panel discussion of seasoned labor organizers, including time for attendee questions. Panelists TBA!

This series will provide a space for the union curious and those who are going through this process for the first time to learn organizing skills, ask questions, and build solidarity. Nonprofits are a particular hotspot for union activity, and your workplace needs one! Whether you're already on a union journey or have zero union experience, this workshop series ([link removed]) will hand you the tools you need to have crucial conversations about workplace culture, building power, and influencing lasting change.
