I'm Matthew Frohlich, the Political Director for the Washington State Republican Party. Previously, I worked as Campaign Manager on Jim Walsh's legislative races. I can tell you first hand that Jim Walsh's ability to mobilize voters, activists, and flip Democrat seats is second to none. 

Jim pulled off longshot victories because he didn't practice the same old traditional messaging and voter targeting tactics that the Party and consultants used. He built a message off of facts and common-sense, a message for people not pundits, and Jim stood strong in his convictions. We knew his message could win over anyone, so we went everywhere, not just to likely Republicans based on fancy data.

In 2016 - Jim flipped a historically deep blue seat and won by 500 votes.
In 2018 - WA Democrats spent $1 million against Jim and he won by 500 votes.

In 2020 - Jim won by over 13,000 votes. And the whole district went RED.
In 2022 - Jim won by over 15,000 votes.

With Jim Walsh as the new State Party Chair, we are going to implement these same strategies statewide, and WA Republicans are going to start winning again. Not only do I believe it, but Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who has won some tough battles of her own, knows we can win.
