1️⃣ We rely on grassroots supporters like you. Our ability to support climate champions depends on a lot of individuals being willing to support however they can. And the stronger our grassroots support, the stronger our momentum.

2️⃣ We focus our support where we can have the biggest impact. Our strategy combines direct financial support and smartly leveraging our ability to reach people in down-ballot races where even modest financial support goes a long way. In 2023, we have already been able to make a major impact on state & local races across the country, from Virginia’s state legislature primary wins to key victories for local Climate Champions in Denver, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh. And with you on our side, we can make a bigger impact.

3️⃣ The climate crisis is here. Day after day, we are seeing the effects of burning planet-warming fossil fuels on our communities. Big Oil is dedicated to investing in politicians who will let them continue to get away with it. We can’t take a break from demanding climate action, and with your support, I strongly believe the climate movement is in great hands.

We don’t say any of this to scare you – anyone who tries to scare you into gaining their support should rethink that strategy. If nothing else, our goal is for you to feel hopeful – our team and the rest of the climate movement are working every day out of hope for a livable future, and we hope you consider yourself part of our team.
