It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to serve in Congress, but I must admit there’s one part of the job I’m not that fond of: Fundraising.
Friend, I’m sure that, like mine, your inbox is filled with political emails and fundraising asks. It’s tiring, I know, but I wanted to fill you in on why our fundraising is so important this year.
You see, as I sit here typing this email, lots of folks across the country are thinking about Pennsylvania. My opponents, candidates up-and-down the ballot, super PACs, and special interest groups – they’re all readying and refining their 2024 strategies for the Keystone State.
And rest assured, they will use every piece of information available to guide their strategy and their heavy spending – including our upcoming, public Federal Election Commission fundraising report. With next week being our end-of-quarter deadline, lots of folks will look at our report hoping to find weaknesses to exploit – but I know they’ll be disappointed because of the strength and tenacity that this team always brings to the table. If you can help ensure our report is as strong as possible by chipping in, I’d appreciate it.
