John, it was a historic weekend!

On Sunday, we marched on the streets of New York City alongside 75,000 activists from around the country — including those on the frontlines of the climate crisis — to demand bold action for a livable future. Nearly 1,000 people from 350 local groups marched together! 💪

Together, our movement turned up the heat on President Biden and other world leaders ahead of the UN General Assembly and UN’s Climate Ambition Summit to put an end to the era of fossil fuels and power up a just transition to a clean energy future. The march also landed on the front page of the New York Times and generated big headlines in most major news outlets, reminding us that though we may be against big money and industry, the people are POWERFUL.

Check out these powerful pictures from last weekend’s massive climate march, the largest since the COVID-19 pandemic:

But we’re not done yet, John.

This ENTIRE week is Climate Week in New York, and the March to End Fossil Fuels was just one of many different actions this week.

All week long, our climate movement will be rising up to demand our leaders make the climate commitments we need and continuing to call on President Biden to pick a side — he’s either with us or the fossil fuel industry.

No matter where you are, you can be a part of this historic moment by sharing and engaging with us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook as we fight for the fossil-free future we deserve.
