September 30 is an important deadline.  We are all thinking about what the impasse in Washington will mean, and as campaign treasurer, I am also thinking about what September 30 is for our campaign: our next FEC deadline.

As you know by now, at the end of the quarter, we are required to file a finance report with the Federal Election Commission.  Of course, we want a good report, and we want what a good report means: a strong, well-funded campaign on track to win again and help other Democrats up and down the ballot win, too.

As always, we have a quarterly goal we need to reach to ensure we have the resources to run a strong campaign through the primary in March and the general election in November and it’s important that we hit those goals.

I’m so grateful there are dedicated and generous supporters on #TeamLizzie who mobilize around fundraising deadlines, and I want you to know that your contributions make a difference no matter what day of the month you make them—like today, for example!
