Friend, any union family knows that a strike is always the last resort.

Autoworkers want to be making cars. Actors want to be acting. Screenwriters want to be writing. But when those in power refuse to pay a fair wage, workers have no choice but to take to the picket line.

I will ALWAYS support their right to stand up for fair wages and benefits and better working conditions. That's why I'm proudly standing with the UAW workers, here in Ohio and across the country, who are striking for fair compensation and working conditions. It’s the right thing to do.

Not one of my GOP opponents supports these workers in this fight for economic justice – and it's downright shameful. Theirs is a deeply unpopular position with the American people. I'm going to prove it, but I need your help.
