Along with Dee Myles and our Education Department, we're writing to invite you to participate in the week-long National Marxist School on the U.S. working class.   The school is online only. Click here to find out more.

Classes will consider how to theorize the working class today along with an overview of its present composition. Things are changing!

Attention will be paid to what Marx called the "productive forces" (the dynamic interplay between workers, what happens on the shop floor, technology) and how to understand these processes today. AI is happening – what will be its impact?

Class structure in the U.S. together with what are called "special questions" in Marxism, that is, the manner in which people of color, women, and LGBTQ people are oppressed will also be reviewed. What's the relationship between the class struggle and the battle democracy in today's circumstances?
