Dear John,

As a freshman member of Congress, one of my first votes was to support the American Rescue Plan.

It was a historic opportunity to help our country recover from the pandemic. Passing this legislation allowed us to revitalize our economy and deliver relief to working families, provide schools with the resources they needed to safely reopen, and establish a national vaccination plan to keep our communities healthy.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders from both parties to get things done for Northwest Indiana — like investing in our infrastructure, making sure our steel industry has the support it needs to compete in a global economy, and creating opportunities for more good-paying, union jobs.

During each and every Congressional vote, I always make sure to do what's best for Indiana's 1st District. But while I'm busy advocating for our region in Congress, Republican groups like the NRCC are plotting ways to defeat me next November.

I need to know I can count on you as we prepare for whatever Republicans try to throw our way. Please, pitch in $10 or any amount today to help fuel my work and allow my campaign to bolster our defenses for any incoming GOP attacks. [[link removed]]
