Voting rights are under attack in Florida. Nearly 3 million Floridians voted by mail in 2022, but all of their ballot requests were wiped out at the beginning of this year because of a new law signed by Governor Ron DeSantis. Many of Ron’s attempts to restrict voting rights and racially gerrymandered maps have been struck down by the courts and ruled unconstitutional. It is up to Democrats to fight back and combat voter suppression in our state.
