Happy National Voter Registration Day!

Across the country, we’re seeing increasingly extreme restrictions on ballot access, especially for those from marginalized communities. Seeing one of our nation’s core principles consistently under attack by out-of-control governors and state legislatures is sickening.

But in New Jersey, we’re proud to say that our administration has enacted some of the most expansive voting reforms to protect and expand voting rights and increase transparency in our elections. Together, we’ve expanded democracy across our state by passing simple yet effective changes like automatic voter registration and in-person early voting.

Voting is one of the most patriotic things we can do as Americans, and we will always work to improve and expand access to voting.
