A study, rally echo calls for extended late-night Metrorail

WMATA gets its last 7000-series trains

Metro accepted the last of its 7000-series rail cars, the first of which started operating in 2015, this week. The trains cost approximately $2 million per train and make up roughly 60% of WMATA’s in-service fleet. The final cars will not go into service for six to eight weeks.  (Margaret Barthel / WAMU)

More development proposed in Bethesda

A developer will submit plans to develop a nine-story mix-use building in Bethesda, at Wisconsin Avenue and Tilbury Street. The development would contain as many as 350 apartments and include 15,000 square feet of retail.  (Nena-Perry Brown / Urban Turf)
