Answer the Call: Fund MSF’s Emergency Response around the world

Friend, did you know that Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is ready to respond to emergencies in places where other organizations can't or won't go?
It’s true––and our work to provide emergency health care has never been more essential. Last week, on September 10, Storm Daniel made landfall in northeastern Libya causing severe rains and flooding that swept away entire villages. MSF mobilized emergency teams to assess needs in this region, arriving on September 13 with supplies to donate on arrival, including 400 mortuary bags, 200 medical kits, and casualty care kits for 250 patients. We are working closely with the Ministry of Health and other aid organizations to determine where help is needed. Around the world, climate change is increasing both the frequency and severity of extreme weather events. That in turn is contributing to and exacerbating a range of emergencies, from malnutrition to
disease outbreaks.
Our teams are meeting these challenges across the globe, providing emergency supplies, psychosocial support, and medical care to those who need it most. We are often one of the first organizations to arrive and one of the few to stay once the headlines fade in crisis situations.
Friend, this work is only possible with your support. Thank you for being a vital part of our global movement to provide urgent medical care where it is needed most.
