Team — Our government is on the brink of a shutdown, and what is Speaker Kevin McCarthy doing? Instead of negotiating a spending deal for the benefit of the American people, McCarthy once again caved to MAGA extremists by supporting a baseless and purely political impeachment inquiry against President Biden – without a vote. Let's be clear here, several House Republicans have already come forward to state that there is no evidence to support such an inquiry. According to The Hill, Kevin McCarthy even told members of his party in July that he was opposed to an impeachment inquiry. Chris knows that we need to reject this reckless partisanship.
