WHAT'S HAPPENING
Income inequality is a persistent problem in the U.S. Extreme wealth is concentrated among the few. Meanwhile, about 1 in 9 people were living in poverty as of the 2021 U.S. Census. The implications are profound for food, housing, and more.

THE DIFFERENCE WE MAKE
In New Mexico, donations from people just like you are connecting local farmers with early childhood education centers to bring fresh produce to children from low-income families. In Atlanta, those contributions help us advocate for rent control to help people stay in their homes. In California’s Pan Valley, we’re supporting farm workers advocating for safer working conditions.

Friend, the world becomes a better place when communities have the resources they need to pursue the solutions they know are possible! As AFSC's fiscal year ends and we look to the future, I hope you will donate to help projects like these persist. Fund transformative work in communities across the U.S. and around the world with your gift today.
