The Charlotte International Arts Festival is an annual celebration of imaginative visual and performing arts from the most creative international and local minds.

Families and individuals are invited to see our city through new eyes. With over 200 attractions, many for free, this festival has something for everyone. See the full schedule of activities here ([link removed]) .
Local writer and poet Hannah Hasan is featuring my story along with other Charlotteans in her upcoming production This Land is My Land: Here from Afar – a live on-stage production that tells the true stories of people from the Charlotte community with deep roots in countries from around the world. Through beautiful storytelling, music, and dance; this show dives deep into the lives, cultures, and stories of immigrants who make the tapestry of our community more rich, diverse, and beautiful. And, remember to mark your calendar for Early Voting beginning October 19th. Your voice is needed to select your City Council representatives, Mayor, and three Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board representatives.
