Democrats, We are delighted to announce the promotion of finance intern, Clayton Caté, to DPNM Finance Assistant! Clayton’s tireless work ethic and dedication to Democratic advocacy helped support the Democratic Party of New Mexico this summer, and will propel us forward into next year’s presidential race with momentum. “I was born and raised in Santo Domingo Pueblo aka Kewa Pueblo. I am a senior at UNM majoring in Political Science with a minor in Native American Studies. My hobbies include farming, camping, and lifting weights. I am also a traditional heishi jeweler.”

DPNM’s internship program is a fast track for bringing in local, young, politically-motivated talent into Democratic politics in NM who are motivated to do the hard work it takes to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. As we approach next year’s presidential election, we will rely heavily on the dedication of interns and staff to protect NM’s Democratic stronghold–but we need your support.
We were only able to build up our internship program from the ground up with the help of Democrats like you. We believe in investing in our interns and staff to enable them to do the best work they can for New Mexico’s Democrats. Can DPNM count on you to invest in our college interns and staff to keep Democratic politics alive in NM?
