After endorsing Justice Janet, Daily Kos readers and activists donated over $100,000 to her campaign and 2,240 volunteered to get out the vote for her, paving the way to her victory.
However, now, state Republicans are threatening to impeach Justice Janet if she doesn’t recuse herself from the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the state's gerrymandered maps. As Wisconsin Democratic Chair Ben Wikler writes on the site this is a "A desperate, unconstitutional, and obscene threat to democracy… and 2024"
