few facts about what makes California’s Senate race unique:

 1. The primary is on March 5, 2024.
 2. The top two vote getters—regardless of party—move on to the general
election in November.
 3. Candidates are funding their campaigns in a variety of ways: Katie is
the only candidate in this race rejecting contributions from corporate
PACs, federal lobbyists, and Big Oil, Big Pharma and Big Bank CEOs.
 4. Because of California’s size and pricey media markets, this could be
the year’s most expensive Senate primary.
 5. The person Californians elect isn’t just another vote in the
Senate—they’ll have the chance to guide our party’s priorities and
messaging for decades to come.
