[[link removed]]National Public Lands Day is this Saturday, Friend!
Whether you are a mountain hiker or enjoy being outdoors, celebrate by defending
our public lands. Act Now!

From the snowy-white ice caps and glistening glaciers of the Arctic to low-vast
canyons wrapped by river valleys in the west of the United States, we can’t help
but to bask in the beauty of Earth’s diversity. You may spot from afar a mama
grizzly bear tending to her cubs in the forest or maybe you like to trek along
mountain trails as colorful butterflies flutter through the open air -- there are so many natural wonders to explore!

The various ecosystems and cycles of nature are all important to sustain plants,
wildlife, and people. Our Earth is a beautiful place, but it’s all in jeopardy of being demolished for a dollar sign.

Friend, this is SERIOUS. Our precious public lands are being sold off to the highest bidder for oil
drilling and fracking, and what is left is threatened by climate change. Big Oil
and Big Polluters are lining their pockets to exploit sacred lands, destroy natural resources and displace both people and animals from homes and habitats.

Oil drilling and fracking comes with pollution, destruction, and more pollution. Drilling sites contaminate nearby drinking water with radioactive waste , spew harmful emissions into the air we breathe and can INDUCE earthquakes and floods. Nearly one quarter of U.S. climate pollution comes from
fossil fuel extraction on public lands.

Our planet can no longer endure the destruction and degradation caused by
corporate greed. We are experiencing the impacts today -- from cross country wildfire smoke to record-breaking heat. And it can only get worse if it all continues. President Biden is reviewing new oil and gas rules RIGHT NOW! That’s why we are calling on environmentalists like YOU to demand protection of
our land, climate, and the wildlife that depend on both. Can we count on you
Friend? Act Now! >>

[[link removed]]Public lands are more than just places to explore, Friend. Many sites that are up for sale are home to Indigenous people who
rely on the land to sustain their families and communities. Pollutants found in
the drinking water, food, and air are linked to serious health concerns . The loud screeching from industrial-sized machinery produces intolerable noise pollution , causing blistering headaches. And the same oil and gas industry that is
turning public lands into deserted areas of toxic waste is also using them to throttle up the climate
crisis.

Protecting public lands is protecting the future of this planet. Hurry -- the comment period is CLOSING SOON! Sign the petition NOW to demand President Biden save people, wildlife, and the
planet from fossil fuel destruction and the climate crisis. >>
