Spectrum News:
Experts say Latino vote could prove more crucial in 2024 election

"A projected increase in young, unaffiliated Hispanic voters in Texas and other large states is expected to make the Hispanic vote an even bigger political battleground in next year's presidential election."

Donate to help register and mobilize young Latinos in battleground states >>

According to the experts at UCLA, Latino Policy and Politics Institute, L2 Data, and TelevisaUnivision, the Latino vote could be a deciding factor in states like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Texas — where competitive races will decide control of the House, Senate, and White House.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Across the country, there are more than 4 million Latino 17-year-olds who will turn 18 before the presidential election — and many of them live in critical battleground states.
  • According to recent research, more than 75% of young Latinos support federal legislation to protect reproductive rights. So if these young people turn out and vote in huge numbers, we can make our voices heard by electing pro-choice leaders.
  • But here's our challenge: Our analysis revealed that communities with the highest concentration of Latinos have the lowest rates of voter turnout. That means it's up to us to change that by reaching more young Latinos than ever before

Here at Voto Latino, we're experts at getting young people registered to vote and mobilized to cast a ballot — in fact, more than 75% of those we register turn out to vote! By donating today, you can help supercharge our voter outreach across the country.

Every $24 donation helps us reach one more voter in a state like Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, or Texas. Will you rush a contribution now to help us drive the largest Latino turnout in our nation's history?
