With less than six months to go before election day, it is important to take stock of our current campaign status. Here is where we stand as we move into the second half of the campaign.
Grassroots
To date, we have travelled to almost 90 counties across the state, speaking to local GOP organizations, attending meet and greets, and going to festivals and parades. We made a commitment to travel to all 100 counties because we are interviewing for the job and want to take our campaign to every voter in the state. Within the next six weeks, we will have accomplished this commitment. No other campaign comes close.
Fundraising
While the grassroots are our chief priority, we are aware that fundraising is a requirement of a modern campaign. We have raised well in excess of a quarter of a million dollars and continue to exceed our goals as we continue the campaign. We have already broken the previous record for fundraising at the LG level and show no signs of slowing down. If you would like to host an event, please reach out to me at [email protected].
County Chairs
We have put together an impressive roster of campaign chairs who represent us in over 75 counties. Our chairs will help us mobilize our volunteer army as we soon begin to get out the vote with yard signs, door knocking, and phone calls. We are always recruiting more people to the team and if you are interested, please reach out to our team about getting plugged in.
