He only lost his legs
Friend,
On September 19, 2010, my husband Brian Mast was blown up by a bomb while
serving our nation overseas as a bomb disposal technician.
He lost both legs and a finger, but against all odds, he survived!
We celebrate this day each year as “Brian’s Alive Day” because although it is
a painful reminder of the worst day of our lives, it is also a testament to
Brian’s perseverance, passion to serve, and above all else, his patriotism.
Help us make the anniversary of the bomb that changed Brian’s life a real
celebration.Sign his card before the anniversary tomorrow >>

Tomorrow marks 13 years since September 19th, 2010, the day that changed my
family forever…
Brian was deployed to Afghanistan when our first child was just four months
old.
When soldiers appeared on my doorstep at 7 a.m. with somber looks on their
faces, I immediately feared the worst — that our beautiful baby boy was going
to go through life never knowing his father.
Friend, I’ll never forget the frenzy of emotions I felt when I first arrived
at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I saw Brian lying on the
hospital bed, unable to speak because of the tubes in his mouth. But he was a
fighter, and he was desperately trying to tell me everything would be okay.
He’s never given up on that fight, and he continues to do everything in his
power to make America a better place for not just our family, but all Americans.
I won’t lie, being a military wife was tough, but I knew what I signed up for,
and it was the biggest blessing to watch Brian pursue his lifelong dream of
serving his country. Now, I have the honor of supporting Brian as he leads the
America First fight in Congress, but it’s also never been easy.
Brian faces relentless opposition and attacks from his political opponents,
which takes a toll but never slows him down. That’s why we also put together a
fundraising campaign for tomorrow. If you can, please contribute in honor of
Brian’s Alive Day.

Together, we can take that negative day and turn it into a positive day. I am
endlessly in awe of Brian’s bravery, and I hope we can show that to him on his
Alive Day.
Many Blessings,
Brianna Mast
