GGWash’s Fall Mixer is next Wednesday, September 27 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Metrobar in Northeast DC. If you’re free, please join us: you’ll be supporting our work and you'll have a lot of fun while doing it.

It’s our third year hosting this big fall bash and, honestly, it’s one of the highlights of my year. Not only is the Fall Mixer huge – we expect more than 300 people – but it’s a cheerful, welcoming space. It’s family friendly: we’ll have some arts & crafts for the kiddos.

And the Fall Mixer never fails to remind us just how many people care about making this region a place where housing is abundant and affordable and it’s safe and easy to get around via transit, bike, or foot. This community keeps this work going, truly.

Almost 25% of our annual budget comes from individual donations and fundraising events like the Fall Mixer. When you show up for us, you’re making sure that we can keep publishing important stories, advocating for change, and bringing people together to make this region more sustainable, equitable, and connected.

Tickets start at $30 and include one drink, with the majority of proceeds going to support GGWash.
