It’s wrenching to witness the demise of the House of Representatives. The new majority has no interest in governing and addressing the challenges of our time.

With their baseless impeachment inquiry and reckless threats to shut down the government, House Republicans have forfeited control of their party to MAGA extremists. Their agenda is pure chaos, and our ability to effectively govern and improve the lives of the American people are in jeopardy.

I’m proud to be one of the most effective Democratic members of Congress , being one of only two Democrats to have had multiple bills pass the House this Congress. And 9 of my bills introduced in the last Congress became law. My work as Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Caucus earned me the honor of TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People in AI List.
