One of the biggest global threats we are facing is the growing climate crisis. It cannot and will not be ignored.
 
The Trump administration and the Republican party have made it very clear our environment is not a priority. Rolling back emissions standards, easing restrictions on pollutants and withdrawing the United States from the Paris Agreement Agreement will not help us face this threat. 
 
 
Instead, we should be focused on creating jobs by investing in solar, wind, nuclear energy and electric vehicles. Re-asserting America's climate leadership and rejoining the Paris Agreement. Putting a price on carbon emissions.
 
And we need to declare climate change is a threat to our national security. Instead of ignoring this crisis, we must demand a bold climate plan now.
 
We cannot wait.
