Listening Tour this Thursday!

Last week we had a great turn out at our Central Oahu Listening Tour. This week will be our third stop on the Listening Tour in East Oahu. If you haven't made it out yet be sure to come this week and let your voice be heard. This is not a normal town hall, instead we are coming to hear what you have to say and we are asking you what your top concerns are. In fact you can take the survey and share your comments and ideas right now. Follow the link below and share it with your circle of friends and family!
We plan to take your concerns and build our Bill Package for the upcoming 2024 Session beginning in January.

Rep. Alcos Advocating for the Homeless

Representative David Alcos III has observed an increasing number of individuals experiencing homelessness in recent years within District 41 and the surrounding areas. He is constantly visiting areas that these individuals frequent to offer spiritual healing through the words of God. With less than a year as a legislator, he has managed to connect with one of the Governor's liaison's regarding homelessness and the pressing need to construct a homeless shelter in District 41 or possible alternatives to provide these individuals with the proper assistance. In the picture, he is attempting to uncover the root causes, asking uncomfortable questions, and seeking preferable locations to all who are involved. These individuals that were occupying a pavilion while he was out and about were drawn to him for the person he is…"Open Hearted". Rep. Alcos is committed to selflessly advocate for the betterment of his community one day at a time.
Mā'ili neighborhood security watch and prayer walk

Representative Garcia joined the Mā'ili neighborhood security watch and prayer walk on Sept. 8, 2023, showing commitment to community safety in West O'ahu. Mahalo to Nānākuli-Mā’ili Neighborhood board Chair Samantha DeCorte, Mana Olayan (God Forgives) and Westside community leaders for fostering unity and vigilance in our neighborhoods. While crime is on the rise, we are rising up and taking back our community! #WestOahuStrong
Rep. Ward Attends the Republican National Debate

As the RNC’s National Committeeman for the State of Hawaii, Representative Gene Ward attended the first Republican Primary Debate of the 2024 election cycle. After hearing from the Republican presidential hopefuls on the debate stage, he is confident that with whoever becomes the party’s nominee, we will be in great hands. Rep. Ward was also pleased to meet briefly with both Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy who pledged their support for Maui’s recovery and are keeping those affected in their prayers.

Rep. Ward Hosts Governor Green's Senior Advisor at September Beer Summit

At this monthly Beer Summit / Leadership Forum in Hawaii Kai, Representative Ward welcomed guest speaker Blake Oshiro, former House Majority Leader and current Senior Advisor to Governor Green in the Executive Branch. Attendees engaged in great Q&A ranging from the response to the Maui fires to the Aloha Stadium. Representative Ward’s next Beer Summit will be on Oct. 5 @ 6pm at the Oahu Club, featuring Representative Elle Cochran whose district includes Lahaina.
