Incredible, friend.

More than 49,503 supporters have signed EWG’s petition calling on the EPA to BAN hormone-disrupting atrazine. But I don’t see your name.

We need just 9,497 more signatures before 11:59 p.m. tonight in order to reach our goal before the EPA’s March 1 deadline!

Remember, atrazine has been linked to cancer and hormone disruption. It’s so potent it can change male frogs into female frogs, and so widespread it can be found in the tap water of more than 44 million Americans! We only have until March 1 to force the EPA to take action so please, join the fight today!

Thanks for taking action, friend.

Here are the facts, friend.

1. Atrazine is a hormone-disrupting pesticide so powerful it can turn male frogs into female frogs with viable eggs! In humans, atrazine has also been linked to cancer, shorter pregnancy and hormone disruption.

2. The EU banned atrazine almost 50 years ago, but the U.S. still allows more than 70 million pounds of atrazine to be dumped on American farmland each year.

3. EWG analysis revealed that more than 44 million Americans may be drinking tap water contaminated with atrazine. But the EPA has done nothing to protect our health.

We have a chance to force the EPA to step up and take action on atrazine! More than 28,085 supporters have already added their name to EWG’s petition calling on the EPA to BAN atrazine, but I don’t see your name. Take a look:

ADD YOUR NAME: Tell the EPA: BAN hormone-disrupting atrazine!

The EPA is asking to hear from the public, but we have to submit our petition before the EPA’s March 1 deadline.

We know it’s going to take a huge tidal wave of grassroots support to force the EPA to listen to average Americans instead of the pesticide industry. That’s why we’ve set an aggressive goal of collecting more than 50,000 signatures in just two weeks.

It’s going to be close, but if everyone reading this email took action, we’d hit our goal today!

Click here to tell the EPA to stand up for human health instead of pesticide industry profits. Atrazine has been linked to serious health harms and has been found in drinking water across the U.S. It’s time to BAN this dangerous pesticide!
