Speaking with the Georgia Chamber
Last week, members of the Georgia Chamber came to D.C. to get an update about what our federal legislators are doing in Congress to promote business and growth in our state.
As a Member of the House Intelligence and Armed Services Committees, I gave an update about national security in the present social, political, and economic environment. With nine military installations in our state, Georgia contributes a great deal to our national defense and security around the globe.
Supporting our military with the training and weapons they need, as well as the freedom of the press in Georgia, is as important as ever with what is going on across the globe from adversaries like Russia and China.
It is in our adversaries' best interest for us not to work together, and it is beneficial to their strategies if we suppress the truth. I will continue to work daily to support our men and women who protect freedom in Georgia and worldwide.
