And if there’s one thing we know about Governor Youngkin, we know there is a lot riding on the upcoming election for him.
According to a new article from The Daily Beast, if Youngkin can’t help elect a legislature that can and will ban abortion, he will strike out as a 2024 presidential candidate.
So…we’re thinking two things…
1. Let's make sure he doesn’t elect a legislature that can and will ban abortion.
2. Let’s squash his dreams of running for President!
As stated in the article, “Virginia is the only Southern state that has not passed a ban or heavy restrictions on abortion in the aftermath of the Supreme Court overturning Roe. It has not been for lack of trying.”
And they’re right – the GOP tried so hard to pass an abortion restriction ban in the 2023 Legislative session, but they failed. They failed because of the Democratic State Delegates and State Senators standing up for reproductive rights in Richmond.
