A bribery scandal? Land grabbing? Money laundering? Forest destruction?

You read that right, Friend. Here’s the tragedy unfolding in the Brazilian Cerrado -- the planet’s most biologically rich savanna with MILLIONS of unique species -- and what YOU can do to help.

The Cerrado is home to Indigenous, Afro-Brazilian, and traditional communities that have lived on the land for generations. But violent land grabbers are stealing land and slashing trees, forcing innocent people from their homes, and turning vibrant ecosystems into bleak plantations. In some areas, you can drive for hours and see nothing but endless fields of soy where savannas teeming with colorful birds, giant anteaters, and armadillos once stood.

TIAA, an American corporation worth billions of dollars, claims to be a responsible investor. But it’s purchasing farmland from notorious landgrabbers in Brazil, letting others do the dirty work, keeping its hands looking clean, and reaping the rewards.

A recent report exposed TIAA’s activities, meaning they’re especially vulnerable to public pressure right now, Friend. Will you DEMAND TIAA stop supporting violent land grabbing and deforestation in the Brazilian Cerrado and help SAVE forests? Sign now! >>

The Cerrado was once a massive stretch of uninterrupted savanna, but land grabbers and massive farming corporations have DISMEMBERED it. The formerly wild savanna is now a patchwork of plantations and flat, desolate land.

The ownership of a lot of this land is still in dispute. TIAA purchased land from a man charged with corruption and money laundering for his involvement in a massive scheme to BRIBE judges in these land dispute cases. Does that sound like ethical investing to you?

The Brazilian Cerrado is UNDER ATTACK -- but there’s a clear way you can help. Please, Friend, take just 30 seconds to fight land theft and deforestation. We need 4,827 more people to send a message to TIAA by 11:59pm TONIGHT to hit our goal!

Standing with you,
