The House is back in session after August recess, and it's been a busy week on Capitol Hill. I wanted to take the time and walk you through everything that’s been happening. From new legislation being introduced in the House, to finally opening an Impeachment Inquiry into Joe Biden, there's a lot to catch up on. 

I am pleased to announce that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy launched a formal Impeachment Inquiry into Joe Biden. Over the last several months, House Republicans have been at work uncovering mountains of evidence from the credible allegations of Joe Biden's conduct. Now it's time for House Committees to go to work using new tools to expose the crimes of the Biden family and those who have assisted in covering them up.

The American people deserve to know the truth about Joe Biden's decades of corruption and influence peddling.

Last night, I made my position on any funding package to come out of the House with funding for Ukraine, COVID anything, or Biden's weaponized government clear: I'm a hard NO vote.

Last week, I joined Larry Kudlow with Fox Business to discuss the importance of the Impeachment Inquiry into Joe Biden. The corruption surrounding Joe Biden, his family, and those in government who helped cover it up goes much deeper than we even know. That's why this Impeachment Inquiry is so important. It will allow us to gather the information we weren't able to obtain before.

Last week, I also introduced an Amendment using the Holman rule to the Defense Appropriations Act to cut Secretary Lloyd Austin's salary to no more than one dollar.

Secretary Austin believes it is more important to teach woke ideologies to service members than it is to prepare them for the line of duty. Secretary Austin has lost the trust of the American people and has intentionally ignored the national security threats facing this country. 

The American people should no longer have to fund his salary. 

The Office of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is seeking interns for her office in Washington, DC. Applicants should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and have interest in learning more about the legislative process. Start and end dates are flexible. Georgia ties are preferred, but not required. This is a paid position and college credit can be earned.

Interns will work in three different interest tracks:

• Policy: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s legislative team. Tasks include answering phones, assisting with legislative research, processing constituent mail, attending policy briefings, and additional tasks to aid the legislative team.
  
  
• Communications: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s communications team. Tasks include answering phones, compiling daily press and broadcast clips, organizing, maintaining, and updating media lists, drafting press releases, assisting with social media, and additional tasks to aid the communications team. Experience with the Adobe Suite is required.
  
  
• Administrative: Interns will work closely with the scheduler and staff assistants to complete tasks that are essential for day-to-day office organization. These include answering phones, compiling contact lists, processing constituent mail, leading Capitol tours, completing flag requests, drafting constituent correspondence, and assisting with weekly reports.
