Dear Friends,

Today I turn 50 years old. Will you help me celebrate by helping deliver a Democratic House of Delegates and Senate here in Virginia? For everything we believe in as Democrats, I ask you to contribute to one of five House of Delegate candidates and one Senate candidate below.

For women's reproductive rights, for our climate, for common sense gun safety, for the Metro funding Arlington will only secure if we win both Chambers of the Virginia Legislature and for everything I work for, please consider giving $50, $15, $5, or $150 to one of these six candidates who will fight for each of the above ideas and Democratic values.

Rob Banse is a retired Episcopal pastor who will be a voice of reason and focus on investing in our schools, preserving our natural resources, protecting personal freedoms, and bolstering local business. Rob Banse — Donate via ActBlue ([link removed])

The other races I will be digging in to further over the coming week or two are, Kimberly Pope Adams and Russet Perry. For Russet, there is the event I am helping to host this Thursday, but today I am asking you to help with a personal goal of raising resources for her, as she is the key to the Senate. These links are each personal for me: our goal via this email is to raise $500 today for each of them. It's not every important race, but it is most of them: there is at least one other race that I will follow up on over the next two weeks. Today, I am asking for these six because I know each race will be close from analysis I have read from Rip Sullivan, Blue Virginia, and from my own analysis of each of their websites and races.

None of the above links sends me a dollar: I am reaching out today for the ideas I have spent my life working on. Will you help me act for them?
