Rooted in the belief of "reuse before recycle," Construction Junction has been a champion of sustainability, reducing waste and fostering equitable access to resources across the Pittsburgh area since 1999. From diverting tons of building materials from landfills to providing affordable reclaimed goods to its shoppers, its impact on the Pittsburgh area is undeniable. But they don't stop there — Construction Junction actively engages in Goodwill job training programs, has partnerships with key organizations that promote sustainability, and empowers the community with the tools to build a future with less waste.
Want to show your support for reuse? Help Construction Junction continue its impact by indulging in an unforgettable, deliciously fun experience. Tickets are now available for The Steel City Big Pour, an all-inclusive beer and food sampling festival with more than 70 local brewers, food partners, musicians and artists gathered in one place, the newly renovated Rockwell Park in North Point Breeze. Doors open at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, with a one-hour VIP session starting at 4 p.m.
All proceeds from Steel City Big Pour support Construction Junction, a nonprofit organization that promotes conservation through the reuse of building materials. For more information, visit cjreuse.org/bigpour.
