Trio of All-Stars Joins Heritage |

A-Listers: Heritage announced that three top-level scholars—Christopher DeMuth, Robert J. Barro, Ph.D., and Rachel M. McCleary, Ph.D.—have joined the team.
- Christopher DeMuth—past president of the American Enterprise Institute who most recently served as a distinguished fellow at the Hudson Institute—joins as a distinguished fellow in the B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies.
- Robert J. Barro—a world-renowned economics professor at Harvard and author of 17 books—joins as a distinguished fellow in economic thought.
- Rachel M. McCleary—a lecturer at Harvard and author of six books—joins as senior visiting fellow in religion and political economy for the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies.
“Heritage’s reputation rests on the foundation of quality policy research and the deep knowledge of our scholars,” said Derrick Morgan, Heritage’s executive vice president, in announcing these additions to Heritage’s team.

Protestors Silence Heritage Board Member |

Cancel culture: Shortly after Princeton University professor Robert George began his speech at Washington College, titled “The Truth-Seeking Mission of the University,” a handful of protestors forced him off the stage.
- The Star Democrat reports that the protestors listed the fact that “George is a board member for the Heritage Foundation” as one of the reasons for not letting him speak.

DOD Walks Back Gender-Neutral Wording After Heritage Exposé |

Busted: Less than two weeks after Heritage exposed a Department of Defense rule forcing service members to use the “gender-neutral” and grammatically incorrect word “themself” for military awards, the Pentagon "clarified" its rule.
- Senior Legal Fellow Cully Stimson and Senior Research Fellow Dakota Wood say the "clarification" isn't enough and that the issue isn’t going away anytime soon."

Copycat: President Biden is once again under fire for alleged plagiarism. This time, one of Heritage’s own says he witnessed it at Harvard.
- Heritage Vice President Roger Severino told Fox News that Biden had “lifted language straight out of a [federal court] opinion, changed a couple words, and called them his own.” The New York Post picked up on the story.
