Dear Friend,
You are a valued member of our Alzheimer's Association community. The interest you have taken in our work tells me just how committed you are to providing care and support to those who need it, while advancing research toward new methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. Thank you. But we can't just hope for a cure. We need people like you, from our caring community, to take action and make your first gift today.
And that's because World Alzheimer's Day is now only three days away, and we need your support during this once-a-year event. Especially since you have an incredible opportunity to double your impact in the lives of those living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers.
With the generous support of our community, we have been able to fund research for breakthroughs in treatment, and provide care and support by:
- Accelerating global progress toward new methods of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
- Providing and enhancing the reach of care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
- Increasing access to timely diagnosis and quality care through health systems and community-based providers and improving treatment for everyone.
There's nothing more inspiring than seeing our community come together in shared spirit and purpose. Since we announced our $175,000 World Alzheimer's Day Match Challenge, our supporters have been proud to answer the call for help. Will you join us in this challenge today?
We're also grateful to our match donors. Long-time supporters and Alzheimer's Association Zenith Society members Dick and Marianne Kipper have pledged to match every donation we receive until September 21, World Alzheimer's Day — up to a total of $175,000 — if we can raise the same amount by the deadline. Their gift will help fund Alzheimer's disease research, while your donation can be matched to provide care and support and accelerate research. It could lead to life-changing breakthroughs for someone facing this terrible disease.
Friend, when you give now, your support can go 2X as far to advance our mission to the lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
But this challenge is only around until September 21, World Alzheimer's Day. In order to unlock these match funds, we must first raise the full $175,000 by the end of that day. We don't have much time, and we're counting on you to help make it a success.
Make a gift with 2X the impact for World Alzheimer's Day. |

We've made incredible advances toward reaching our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia — but our work is far from done. Your support is vital in furthering this fight to end this disease.
We are all in this together. We are all at risk. And we can all make a difference. Please give generously today while you can have 2X the impact in this fight to end Alzheimer's.
With sincere thanks,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. You have shown that you appreciate the urgency of the threat we're facing by joining this community. Your gift can double in impact to provide 2X the support in the fight to end Alzheimer's, so please take the next step and give your first gift today.
