Here's the email we sent you earlier on this:

Dear John,

We are headed to Portland on September 18th to defend Marlene Barbera’s right to healthcare.

Here is the plan.

On September 18th, 11:00 a.m. we will be outside of the Robertson Life Sciences Building (2730 S Moody Ave, Portland, OR 97201). We will deliver the petition demanding Marlene be allowed her life-saving cancer surgery.

Marlene needs your support at the Robertson Life Sciences Building during the OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University) Board of Directors Public Meeting. Only with your help will we be able to send this message loud and clear to the OHSU chief executives and board.

Please let us know if we can count on you.

This is a great opportunity to stand together and send a strong message to OHSU and its massive health network.

Marlene must not be denied healthcare based on her view that women are women and men are men, as she stated in a private correspondence with her doctor concerning her personal care.

Please join us and stand with Marlene to let her know that she is not alone in her fight.

If you can, please mark your calendars for September 18th.

If you plan to attend please let us know.

We hope to see you there!

Anna Derbyshire and all of the team at CitizenGO

P.S. If you can’t come to Portland, please sign and share our petition for Marlene.
