Friend,
While not many people circle Constitution Day on their calendar, we want to highlight how important the U.S. Constitution is and how this document is more than just a narrative.
Our country was formed and built on the principle of liberty. America's founders and first-generation citizens kept the preservation of personal freedom as a top priority in the earliest days of our nation. After building a country from the ground up and fighting for the sovereignty it deserved, it took years to perfect the document to protect all Americans for generations to come.
The U.S. Constitution is what binds us together as a nation. We all have the same rights and liberties and are all protected against tyranny and abuse of power by the government. Under the Constitution, we are all equal, just as God sees us.
As Frederick Douglass once said, "Interpreted as it ought to be interpreted, the Constitution is a Glorious Liberty Document!" Which is why we choose to celebrate its significance today!
Happy Constitution Day from the Kings and Let’s Win for America Action.
