“Lights, Camera, Subscriptions: State of the Video Marketplace”
The Subcommittee on Communications and Technology held a hearing to examine the video marketplace. It has been over three decades since the Cable Act was last updated, and the state of the video marketplace has completely changed since then. As Congress reviews federal regulations of the video marketplace, it is important that we look for ways to improve competition in the marketplace and remove redundant regulations, all while protecting local journalism.

Full Committee Markup
The Education and Workforce Committee marked up nine bills aimed at supporting students, workers, job creators, retirees, and taxpayers.
Included in the markup was my RETIRE Act, which ensures investment fiduciaries may never sacrifice returns, take on additional investment risk, or increase costs to promote goals unrelated to accumulating benefits for retirement.
