John,

Each year, AEM's Washington, D.C. Fly-In provides equipment manufacturing representatives with the opportunity to speak in one unified voice. Executives from across the nation will meet with lawmakers in the House and Senate to advocate for pro-manufacturing policies that will help equipment manufacturers succeed in the U.S. and around the world. Critical policies on the agenda include:

* The timely reauthorization of the Farm Bill and securing the inclusion of two key pieces of legislation that will promote the use of precision agriculture. The PAL Act (S. 719/H.R. 1495) and the PRECISE ACT (S.720/H.R.1459) are key pieces of legislation that I Make America continues to advocate for.
* The timely reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The House has passed the reauthorization, though it is still pending in the Senate.
* The reinstatement of immediate Research & Development expensing as provided for in the American Innovation and R&D Competitiveness Act (S. 866/H.R. 2673).

Tell your legislators to support U.S. manufacturing!
