In American politics, there's always been a lot of labeling going on. On any given issue, each side tries to convince the public that their opponents are "out of touch," or "extremists," or some other version of that.
It works, too. Voters don't like the feeling that they're part of the "out-group." Most people like knowing that they're a part of the majority.
That's why ever since the Supreme Court got rid of Roe v. Wade and returned abortion law to the people and their legislators, the Big Abortion lobby has relentlessly pushed the idea that they are the majority. That most voters share their agenda. That you and I are the extremists.
And guess what? It's just another lie from Big Abortion and their allies used to manipulate the American people.
The idea of protecting children in the womb from pain is not controversial. It's a belief MOST Americans share.
But as you know, the abortion "rights" crowd has the media on their side, and they go to great lengths misleading people about Americans' consensus on abortion.
That's the main challenge right now in our fight for life in America – that's what we're up against. Abortion extremists can't tell the truth about what they want, which is abortion on demand for any reason, even up until the moment of birth. So they confuse the public about what's at stake. They spread fear. And they smear our movement.
I am confident they will fail because our movement is based on making every effort to love, support, and protect women and children. That's why we work so hard to push back against all the lies, to pin pro-abortion politicians down on their actual views (which are never popular) and to amplify the voices of candidates who defend life.
