I've always been drawn to service.

 

After graduating high school I took the first airplane flight of my life for basic training and began my 22-year career in the Army. I was deployed to the Iraq War, Guantanamo Bay, Kuwait, and the Korean DMZ.

During my time in the Michigan State Senate, I voted against sending taxpayer money to Chinese communist-owned factories, pushed for reinvestment in American energy, and defended small businesses from the left's anti-small business agenda.

 

I want to continue helping our nation by making positive change, but I need your help.

I joined the U.S. Army straight out of high school.

 

My opponent, Curtis Hertel Jr. ran for office straight out of college.

 

We aren't the same, and our service to Michiganders like you wouldn't even be comparable.

 

Will you help me beat Curtis Jr. so I can represent you how you deserve to be represented, by someone who would lay their life down for you.

 

The 7th Congressional District is going to be an open seat, and the Democrats will undoubtedly throw millions of dollars into this race.

I must really be scaring Curtis Hertel Jr. and his radical allies. 

 

They recently attacked for being "extreme." 

 

Extreme how?

 

Why should I apologize for being so passionate about our great country that I spent 22 years putting my life on the line to defend it, while Hertel spent 22 years as a career politician and literally nothing else?

 

I risked my life for citizens like you, what has Curtis Jr. done? Vote with Democrats 100% of the time?
