John — guess what?

Justice Clarence Thomas filed his financial disclosure forms at the end of August, and for the first time ever, he reported (at least some of) his recent travels aboard his billionaire buddy Harlan Crow’s private jet.

But he also used the disclosure to try to blame the public for the fact that he had to use a private jet, saying that the danger posed by the general public forced him to hit up Republican mega-donor Harlan Crow for rides.

Please donate to have my back as I take on Thomas’ billionaire friends → [[link removed]]

I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a Swiftie, but this is the thought that came to mind when I read that excuse.

Because clearly the only alternative to public travel is to call up your billionaire friend and ask to borrow his private jet.

John, I’ve had enough of Justice Thomas trying to blame everyone but himself for the damage to his reputation (and the damage he’s causing to the Supreme Court’s credibility). It’s clear that Thomas and other justices can’t be trusted to regulate their own ethical dilemmas.

That’s why Congress NEEDS to pass my legislation creating an objective code of conduct for Supreme Court justices. Because just like at the end of the Taylor Swift video I referenced above, Thomas’ reputation is now painted by the private jets he’s used, the lavish gifts he’s accepted, and the luxurious vacations he’s taken free of charge.

Please help me take on the corruption by making a contribution to my campaign. Unlike Thomas, I don’t have (nor do I want) billionaire friends to swoop in and heap gifts on me. [[link removed]]
